So basically, I wanted to do an army that is both fluffy AND effective. Not necessarily tournament standard min-maxed spam list; just something that can put up a stiff fight against most everything
And its an Iron hands army, so fluffy things are tech marines, razorbacks, etc
This is what I came up with
Iron Hands
1500 points
HQ:
Master of the Forge 100
conversion beamer 20
120 points
Elites:
Dreadnought 105
twin-linked lascannon 30
135 points
Dreadnought 105
twin-linked lascannon 30
135 points
Terminator Squad 200
cyclone missile launcher 30
230 points
Troops:
Tactical Squad 90
additional 5 marines 80
meltagun 5
lascannon 10
power fist 25
Razorback 40
250 points

Fast Attack:
Land Speeder Squadron 50
typhoon missile launcher 40

Glory to the Twelfth! Glory to Angron!
"Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls. The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does. That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

It is not a bad list really, it terms of being killy.
I thought dreads and termies are rare. I once came up with an idea using the space wolves codex which better fits the fluff.

yeah dreads and termies are rare, therefore including 2 dreads and 5 termies makes this a very elite force, which suits my theme
these guys are basically the command echelon of the Clan plus their retinues

the one thing i wouls point out is you will have trouble in objective games with that few troops but overall it looks very good.
