So there I was, minding my own business, going through my box of failed ideas, looking for a spare barrel to fix a 129B, when it snuck up on me.

I have a an army in here.

Sure, its in boxes and blisters and little baggies, but its there and I didn't know it.

Only thing I am really missing is actual pioneer transports, but I have enough to proxie it to test it out, which I will most likely do this weekend. I could swap the recon for 2 armored 2cm quads and a few extra points for some toys for the pioneers. Now if PSC willjust get on the ball for their variet halftracks. Is it just an upgrade kit or are theey producing a complete box?

Forget about PSC and waiting.Get some Zvezda Half tracks and the BAttlefront sprue and make your own.

The Zvevda SPWs are a very early variant, and don't belong in a late war army.

PSC's half-tracks are excellent models and easy to assemble. I'd say it's worth waiting for the upgrade sprue.

Got to admit PSC is dragging ass at the moment both in deliveries and releases...

Zvesda stuff is very good.

Gave this a go on Friday, with the minor change of 4 10.5s and aircraft in place of the hummels. (Got a Stuka painted and wanted to give it a go.)

I have to say, I loved the mobility. Ended up playing a Counterattack, and my opponent left an opening for my Luchs to get into his arty park on the first turn. Now they rolled terrible in attacking, but they did keep his 25 pdrs from doing anything useful.

I was also pleasently surprised with the Brumbars. I know people say they have lost quite abit of thier utility with V3, but still for 280 points, they are damn useful. That Bunker buster and 1+ FP is wonderful, especially if the unit is already pinned by supporting armored transports.

The one weakness I still found is the double edged sword of pioneers and flamethrowers. Purposely removing a model in a 6 stand unit hurts. I'm not sure I would take them in any unit unless they are vets.
