I'm currently building a Blindwater Congregation force for HORDES and dig the whole voodoo vibe they have going on there. What I like about a Minion pact is, that they don't have as many options as the regular Warmahordes faction and owning every unit is actually a possibility.
While my favourite models are the regular Gatormen Warbeasts, I really like (the idea of) the Boneswarm. Plus, he fits perfectly with my favourite Warlock, Maleok.

This is the first HORDES model where I thought "yeah, I can totally build this myself". It's probably cheaper too. So I want to buy a bunch of skeletons and make my own Boneswarms. Preferebly, a box where I can build several out of one kit. What's the best choice? Khemri have a lot of egyptian bits I don't need, but the GW Vampire skeletons have even more stuff. Do you have any recomendations for skeletons from other companies I might not know?

I remember Wargames Factory made boxes of skellies... i dont remember if they still do, but theyre worth a look.

They still do. 30 skellies for $20 is the best deal I've seen on even remotely good sculpts (the Wargames Factory offerings are a bit short-limbed, for the size of the ribcage and skull, but the shape of the bones is good), topping even Mantic's price point. They also don't appear to be covered in any clothes or armor, which is perfect for your purposes.

These are from Wargames Factory. Not very flexible, but it could work.

If you ever get WGF skeles, be careful. They are quite fragile so you can easily snap their arms and legs. Unless you want that effect

Heard Mantic skellies are still the cheapest.

Violence is not the answer, but it's always a good guess.

Even if you bought Mantic's 3 Pack, its 60 models for $60

WGF ones are 30 for $20, thus 90 for $60. Plus for conversion purposes wgf are generic and very multi part.
