I may make a set of splashes and ripples at some point, then design my pieces to fit them, rather than the reverse, allowing versatility.

The blood is epoxy resin, I used opaque resin dyes of blue, red and brown, but I didn't follow a formula I just added a little of each until it matched my sample I had made previously, which I based off real blood from a hobby wound... so yeah, blood sacrifice.

Cheers for the info that makes sense to do it that way around, however will that not dictate future designs a little ? but on the up side will save time

My thoughts exactly! There are always a lot of decisions to weigh, I swear we spend more time debating the best way to do something than actually building.

I do it the other way around, chuck it together then work out a better way to have done it, I guess thats half the fun LOL

I have to say your eye detail is amazing, I cant wait to see these commission pieces
