Methies watched as Meredith hopped over the beserker champion. It roared in rage. It charged again but she ducked under him and sliced his knee-cap. It turned around and its own chainaxe beheaded it. She laughed. The other beserkers ran at the party. Methies cut an arm off one and beheaded another. Ezekial poured bullets into one which finally fell. Tristan sliced one in half followed by nearly beheading another. Garth was dancing around a huge group blocking and attacking. Methies turned as the one armed beserker rushed him. He blocked its chain axe and shot its chest plate. It was unphased and attacked again. Methies rolled from the hit and came up in a defensive two handed grip. He had holstered his pistol. The marine charged and Methies ran his blade through its gut. Methies kicked the beserker off. It got back up and charged. Methies sighed. He deflected a heavy blow and countered by inlodging his sword in its head. It fell to the ground snarling. The blade had barely missed due to the horns on the helmet. It ripped the helmet off and got back up. But then a combat knife was run through it face silencing it forever. Meredith pulled out her knife and laughed again. All twenty beserkers lie dead. Meredith was holding the head of the champion. She collected such things, because she was once part of the death cult. She had a vox-box in her throat so she could talk. Methies never thought of it because he had grown use to it over the past few centuries. The team collected themselves and continued their hunt for the warlord.

(Y500) The Bererkers were not the only chaos on the planet. Even as the last one falls, bolter rounds whistle from The emperor knows where and one catches Garth in the back of the head.

The explosion takes his head of, and then some. The rest of the party is forced to take cover as bolter rounds still whistle around.

Methies turns to Merideth "Its like his armour was no help at all, what could do that?"

Markith and the hellions areive at the battle site "Damnit! I didn't expect them to win this easily!" Markith says looking at the damage. He sees an Imperial gaurdsmen trying to hide behind bodys. Gliding over he looks like a hawk descinding on a wounded rabbit. He picked the man up and looked into his eyes "I'll trade you, information for life. Were are you're allies?"
With horror in his eyes the gaurdsmen points a finger in the direction the imperials went."Good, another toy for the hamonicly" Markith says causing the man to thrash and scream. "Leon, take him back" He says handing him the man "Let's fine the imperials"

(Wild) The Guardsmans shrieking must have alerted sentries of some kind as a lascannon shot whiskers through the air butchering one of your Hellions

you find him, fairly quickly and you realise that nothing will be recoverable, all thats left is his helmet the stars glinting dully on its side.

no the only reason you have what you do have is im chaos and im biased that way, and on anouther note, no just because your evil does not nessecarily mean you will loose, good RPing will get you out of any sitch

and meh about numbers, its not like the guard battalions are endless or anything...

Methies dives into cover. The rest of the squad does too. Methies pulls out his sniper. He sights the area the bolts were shot from. A thousand sons space marine squad is running to an awaiting stormbird. Methies cures and takes a shot. It was hasty and glanced off the shoulder pad of the marine. The squad disappeared in the transport. It then took off towards the horizon. "Thousand sons. Damnit", Methies said. "Jaral get me a transport. We are down a man", Methies voxed. "ZZZZZZ...... Oger...... ETA...... Minutes..... Out", Jaral replies. Methies curses the vox and its bad connection. Suddenly a war cry could be heard. Ezekial had openned up on a small group of deserters trying to loot the corpses. The deserters were shredded. After observation the amount of gore was betraying of the number of deserters. It was only three or four. Methies said the rites of passing. He then took Garths weapons. A thunderhawk flew over and landed nearby. Methies carried Garths body into the thunderhawk. The medic examined the corpse and then extracted the gene-seed. It was mutated slightly. This was from the warp storm that had swept them from Caliban ten thousand years ago. Methies sighed. The thunderhawk flew off. An hour later they landed in the camp. Methies walked off and Jaral was waiting. He nodded his head in reverence. An honor guard was present. Methies carried the body into the medics tent. The honor guard was then disbanded. The chief apothicary stripped Garth of his armor. He then wrapped the body in a gauze wrap. He then had two of his assistants take the body to a awaiting aquila lander. It flew off for the hulk in the astroid belt to give Garth`s body to the hall of warriors. Meredith walked in and grabbed Methies`s hand. He hugged her. She and Garth were close. Methies felt sorry. He was use to it. She wasnt. She kissed him and walked out to go and get some rest. "Hey, Methies, we need to get our assault planned. I have the cooridinates of the landing zone of the enemy", Jaral said. "Alright lets go", Methies said and walked out of the tent.

As Asmodeus' ancient boots pulverized a guardsmen's skull he frothed with rage. Where were his foolish kin, how had his forces not reported them?! Seeing a guardsmen move Asmodeus slammed his axe into his spine and took some measure of pleasure from the humans screams of torment. As he was about to chop the humans legs off a scantily clad Slaaneshi cultist ran up to him "My lord I have most urgent news" she stated. Irritated yet hopeful for news of the astartes, Asmodeus spared her life"What is it worm?". "My lord, twenty of your berserkers were just slaughtered" anger rising Asmodeus roared "WHAT?! WHO KILLED MY BRETHREN!?" clearly startled at his explosive rage the slaaneshi stammered"It was 2 humans, they slaughtered them".

Asmodeus started cackling "This I will relish, gather the possessed, we shall show them that The False Emperor is not a true protector, only those with chaos shall be granted protection". An hour later a group of 10 possessed chaos marines followed by half as many sorcerers kneeled before him, ready to do his bidding. Night was falling, the time of Chaos.

After a short flight in a stormtalon, (Chaos stormraven) the Chaos lord touches down and his forces spread out, they soon spot the tents and see far more than 2 humans. Dozens of Power armour clad astartes patrol in the dying light, Even Abrantias' 2 suns go down eventually.

Grinning ferally a plan that would almost make Tzeentch came to mind. "You sorcerers, I want you to prepare a ritual" Asmodeus stated"I want you to summon the Prince of Khorne, we shall revel this glorious knight in the blood of the servants of the False Emperor"
Clearly hessitant the sorcerers assented "We follow your will....my lord"

One brave, (Or stupid, whatever floats your boat) sorceror asks nervously, 'Who is to be the sacrifice my lord?"
