from memory you and your hellions got dragged into battle against the guardsmen and you lost a couple of men, but the guardsmen lost many more as the wyches came to aid you, however you flee when Astartes come to aid the guardsmn as you see it as a lost fight and would prefer to retreat with your prisoners, The Wyches offer an alliance with you to eliminate the astartes
