"Let's go, and feel free to use any weaponry which will help. It's time to give this Employer our greeting," Kais says as Atlas and his squad drop off on the spire. "Hunter, stay with me, we need to get to a vantage point to give our allies sniping cover. Pilot! Drop us off near the top on that landing!"

Kais drops off when the craft is in position, and along with Hunter moves to the best vantage point available, and begins to snipe the enemies, with Kais aiming specifically for weak points of the employer.

The Employer turns to see Kais, it's metal frame ignores the shots that would have killed most foes within seconds and begins to move forward until it hisses and turns towards Hunter as he fires his special rounds into the Employers helm. It roars and sends a psychic blast that knocks Hunter down and turns back to Atlas and Talon who bring up a large, heavily modified Dark Lance.

"Fire!"

The Employer screams in pain and retreats using a shield of shrapnel held by its telekinetic powers but does not leave without saying goodbye, as a final attack the Employer lets out a great psychic scream before warping away. Chaos marines begin to arrive from several directions and instantly open fire on the Xenos.

"Adjust fire to take out the Chaos Marine!" Kais shouts, adjusting his angle so he can take out the newly arrived hostiles.

The Chaos marines begin to take cover as the Dark Eldar attack them with an array of poisoned weaponry that forces any Marine back into cover, Hunter takes sniping position forcing several Chaos marines back into the nearby barracks before moving towards Kais.

"We must move now."

"Agreed," Kais says, before making contact with The Silver Shark. "Pilot, I need you to come back round for us, we are taking fire, and need extraction. Bel! Ludias! We need to get away from this place!"

Several silver armored marines emerge from a door way and move quickly towards the defending Xenos, they wear heresy era armor engraved with Chaos runes and wear Chain mail and cloaks that cover their legs bearing symbols and trinkets from defeated enemies. The leader emerges and quickly fires at Hunter forcing him back while pointing towards the defending Xenos;

"Kill the Xenos...quickly"

(Love it how hunter is still alive :\, the least you can do after wipiing out my sole means of decent travel is to let me kill an NPC that my character should butcher, meh whteva, this RP isnt as good as your other ones Reaper and Im not sure why, maybe its the absurd resiliance of the Daemons ant he fact that 90% of the encounters ive had have been with said daemons. Again, meh)

Ludias gets up groggily his vision shifting in and out of focus but then something in his brain heals and hes sharp again. Not wasting anytime he brings his pistol up and fires a warp desintgrator at the beast.

OOC: Uhhh, the Employer is gone Tyranic...

(OOC) Marta these Daemons are not that weak, they are surviving due to their power

The Silver Shark de-cloaks and begins to land allowing the remaining Xenos and Snipers to escape from the advancing Chaos marines.

yeah the employer is, gone, but if you read reapers post you will notice that Coraks, the Daemon prince is still very much alive

(OOC) The Daemon has not fully regenerated

sure, but its like, ok vortext bomb hits this thing and dragsits esscence into a plane of existance that the warp cant even reach and yet apparently it will live again.... they seem a touch resiliant to me

Coraks limp body rises as the stub that was once his left hand begins to grow, veins and bone are first before mussel while his skull takes more time to regrow. The Employer swoops down and fires a bolt of warp energy that sends both Luidias and Beltyan flying backwards before grabbing Beltyan and Luidias with its telekinesis and slamming them against the floor.

Until i posted Coraks hadnt been mentioned after this, personally i see that as a teeny tiny bit of a regenerated Daemon

"Come on, everybody get on!" Kais shouts, helping everybody back aboard, providing cover fire with his rail rifle. "Pilot! Get us out of here!"

Ludias moves away form the Daemon prince and sprints up the ramp on the ship turning his body towards the shas'o once they are on board theTau notices a gash that had popped one of Ludias' eyes and his wrist from earlier healing rapidly.
"Thankyou Tau... im still open to negotiation as to me working for you. I dont hold grudges"

"I couldn't leave you here with that Daemon, that would be evil," Kais chuckles. "When we get back, you'll need some medical attention."

Ludias looks the Tau dead in the eye with his newly regenerated one,
"No I wont, My body heals itself at a rapid rate due to some... Surgery... that a member of the Dark Eldar race performed on me for services rendered. And the more I hurt, the more I heal."

Hunter appears, a large blade wound in the side of his arm that has been heavily bandaged. He nods to Syrath who warps away while Hunter approaches Luidias.

"I hope negotiating won't be as hard now will it?"

"My price at this point isnt high, Simply put, One ship, can seat up to 4 but at least two. Must be capable of intersteller flight. and Reentry. Atmospheric flight would also be apreciable. That price will see me under the Shas'o's command until he leaves the Eye"

"You have a deal, seeing as how you have proved to be very capable," Kais says, about to walk to the cockpit, but stops. "And please, no more life threatening."

Ludias agrees with the compact commander and thanks him before turning to Bel'
"Looks like we have a ride out of here if we live through this place."

Beltayn nods, sitting next to his friend.

"It seems so, and I am glad you have come to your senses..."

He turns to Shas, bowing reverently.

"I thank you for your cadre's assistance, and I look forward to working with your forces..." He said simply and then said something that everyone was sure had more than one meaning. "For the greater good..."

"For the greater good," Kais repeats, before contacting Mont'yr on the command ship. "Mont'yr, we have Bel'tayn and Ludias with us, we are returning now,. Anything happened while we've been gone?"

"We have had several strange energy readings, we believe it may ge connected to Syrath's comments earlier about a ship called the Unborn Retribution. Our history and data records mention no such ship during combat with any foe Shas'O."

"Keep an eye open for it. We shall discuss it as soon as we are back."

Ludias runs his hands over his usual routine. Reloading and priing all of his weapons. his Rifle he dissasembled and packed for travel in his bacpack. He wouldnt be ueing it for a while. Not until his wrist fully healed anyway.

He looked around the room as he went through his ritual. Checking his way through the faces of the people there. Slowly he took a bead on each and allowed his mask to load thier details into his memory banks. His brain having a subcuntaneous link to his suits systems. Thus allowing him to have quite leterally a second skin with greatly enchanced senses and mechanical reflexes.

The suit made it impossible to surprise Ludias, with a moments thought he could access the readings for every natural and artificial occurance from geothermal readings to sonic and siesmic activity. It was like having a radar in his head that could pick up any blip no matter how it was moving.

Needless to say it had saved his life many many times. But now he was using it for a different purpose. His mind was locking the details of the Xenos around him into memory banks that he could access like a computer hard drive. This storage of thoughts allowed him to record events accuratley and also create mental profiles. It also meant that he never had dead mans click. His mind always counting and storing the information on the number of rounds he had fired then feeding it back into his mask for one glance recall. The mask was the key. It allowed him to view massive amounts of information. Like having a computer screen suspended before his eyes. And the hard drive was his own mind.

He looked over at his friend and smiled. Subconsiously pulling up the visual file on Beltayn and comparing and updating it with what he could see now he was amused to find that nothing had changed scine he had last updated the file, a few days ago. All they had been through hadnt phased the Eldar one bit.
"Bel' whats our plan for when we get there?"

Beltayn was busy in thought wondering about his new employers when Ludias spoke to him. Beltayn shifted his weight and the resting place of his rifle as he thought about his answer. In his hand he held his dagger, a work of craftsmanship not seen on most human worlds, the blade had killed many unwary enemies, almost more than Beltayn could count, and world continue to do so until the day Beltayn died...

"Well, that wholly depends on our new employer has planned now doesn't it?" Beltayn said, turning to Ludias with an arched eyebrow. "It has been quite some time since I have explored a space hulk.." Beltayn said, his hand going to a bullet on his necklace that was marked with the number 352...That kill had been a work of skill and luck, Beltayn was forced to admit. He brought his hand back to a familiar amulet which also hung around his neck, on it was the golden frame, the symbol of his craftworld.

In the middle of that symbol was a red crystal, a sacred object of his people, if he were indeed to die, this device would protect his unseen body. It was his soulstone and he prayed to the dead gods that it would never have to be used.

Beltayn sighed, he hated being reminded of his own mortality...

"Agreed... I'm wondering what the good Shas'o has planned, shal we go and get our orders? Well... My orders, as far as I'm aware you have managed to avoid getting tied down. Well done my friend. Regardless I need to move, I'm restless

Syrath snarled as the two Snipers left the chamber, he did not know if they would be a true assistance in this war. He left the chamber bored with these mortals and headed to his own chamber, if the Unborn Retribution did arrive he'd need some things.

Kais was in the command center, discussing plans of action with Mont'yr, Atlas and the Dark Eldar, and of course Hunter.

"We need to think about what we have to do with this Space Hulk. If I am right there will be more Daemons on the craft than we can count. Every other time we are faced with something like this we always try to infiltrate it and cause some havoc. I don't think that will work this time," Kais said sorrowfully. "We need something a bit more complicated."
