You think we would see the canoness in there if there is a sisters tease at the end of the month? I would settle for a picture of the pencil used to draw the outline of the silhouette for the canoness tease.

I'm not sure about an actual picture of a plastic SOB. That might break the interweb.

Me too. I'm building Sylvaneth at the moment. I was gonna get a start collecting box for the Tree man and BranchWych (I have enough Dryads but more won't hurt when they're effectively free). However I refuse to buy anything until I see what's in the Big Box. Fingers crossed for a second Treeman kit and some Tree revenants.

Well if the rumour that there's a Sylvaneth megaforce is true, they haven't got much choice. Either they put in the modern kits or they release a box with 60 Dryads and a Treeman.

They have already released recent kits in the start collecting boxes, so why not these too?

In other news, Fenris part 2 with assorted minis will go on preorder from November 25th. I have updated the first post.

A user on faiet has some info about the new sets. They said:
Local store had Christmas catalog in which said they would be available 03.12.16
Sigmar was stormcast,iron jaws,bloodbound and sylvaneth from memory. And price was £100.
Iron jaw box was 10 brutez, 3 gore grunters, 1 shaman, 1 mega boss on foot and a giant (Aleguzzler Gargant I think)

Those sets come to £175 individually. When combined with the regular start collecting set it is 1500 points for £150. Not bad.

Every year, for as long as I can remember they have put out boxed sets for Christmas.
There was an amazing Tyranids one, a fantastic Eldar one, there was the one with three Tree Men Ancients and dryads for Wood Elves..
Why is this coming across like something shocking and new?

I don't think the phrase 'not bad' equals shocking. Should we not give praise for a good thing just because it is not unique?
To answer your question. Gw usually does a couple of big boxes each year. If this rumour pans out there will be 8 this year. More is good.

They started around 2006 or so. I got the first two, SM and Tau. CSM next year, and more recently DE and Crons.

Hm, I was kind of hoping they'd do one for each of the Alliances. Gargant doesn't make much sense in an Ironjawz box, but I guess it's not too illogical. We'll see soon.
