So, I've got a very strange and widely ranged collection of Warhammer 40K models and bitz. from the many armies that I've played and kept/sold
I've decided that the easiest, and quite possibly the most fun way to sell myself out of this hobby is the idea of a "grab bag"

I wanted to see if anyone was interested in this idea.
I will fill medium ziplock bags with models, and bitz from my many armies and sell them one bag at a time.
I would easily value one of these bags at about $40-$60, considering you can place a squad of marines, kroot, eldar, orks, whatever into a bag and then fill it to capacity with extra bitz and parts, right? Especially if I decide to throw random rhinos, speeders, dreads and space hulk termies into them
Armies I've played include: Ultramarines (vanilla marines), Eldar, Orks, Space Wolves, Grey Knights, Kroot (tau), and of course, I've collected single miniatures from many other armies.

I was going to sell these bags for $15 plus shipping.
I can make about to 30 of these bags as a guess.

I figure this is a fun way to gamble and collect at the same time.

So, anyone interested?

OH! I would be shipping with tracking via USPS.
Thanks for looking!!

EDIT:: in just a few hours, this has become very popular. I am doing my best to keep up, however, MANY factions have run dry. I will do my best to resupply as I search my home and my LGS buddies contribute.

Thanks again!

I'd be all over this like a fat kid on a ham sammich

could we pick what random model "type" are in the bag? Im sure everyone would be kill with random bitz but the models, eh, would prefer not eldar, lol.

You should take a picture of a few sample bags. I'm interested but concerned the bag will be "runty". I like Kroot on that note...

Can you give the exact sizes of the bags you'll be using and an idea of how stuffed they are?

When I get home from work I will post some photos of exactly what I'm talking about.
I will make sure that the size, contents and fullness of the bag is clearly visible.

I will also be able to determine how many "army" specific bags I can create of each faction.

Thanks for your patience.

It looks like in a bag I can fit something like the following image:
This would be a sample of a Space Marine Themed Bag, of course.

2 handfulls of bits (these haven't been sorted by faction),
about 6/7 marines,
a terminator,
a servitor,
a landspeeder,
many bases

I'm explaining this concept to a few of my friends, hopefully I can get this idea off the ground utilizing the members of my LGS.

15 to 20 dollars sounds great for this, when can I order?

Alright, I'd like to get this going. I have another friend bringing me his extra stuff as well. I would like, if you are interested, to shoot me a PM with a possible theme and I will do my best to make it happen.

I'm heavy with SM, Kroot, and Ork atm - but I'm still searching through the many containers, drawers and boxes throughout my home.

Hit me up!

Me too. The box ws pretty awesome; 4 krootox, 4 hounds, 23 carnivores, 3 metal shapers, and random bits on top of that. Not all of the models were complete, there's goint to be needed repair work, but seriously, that's a pretty sweet deal. Tempted to try another go!

Columbus, Oh

I got one as well.

3x Landspeeders (some crew damaged/missing) with MultiMeltas and spare dread flamers underneath

Plus, 10 or so Black Templar paint marines, and a finecast servitor minus an arm, and an all-metal plasma cannon marine, plus bits.

Darn good value!

Heyy everyone - havent been at home the last few days due to a family emergency. However, I am completely empty as of the moment. I hope to re-stock soon enough. Everyone likes the gamble, it seems

So, with that said, I appreciate the many many orders and the positive feedback - I will do my best to repeat this process VERY soon.

Thanks again!
