I need to find a manufacturer that produces cheap h35/h39. I'm not really wanting to go battlefront as if I remember correctly I'll need 16 or something stupid. I've checked the command decision line, but they don't produce the tanks I need (unless I'm an idiot and can't find them)
Any advice on where I could check would be greatly appreciated

Peter Pig does H39s for £4 http://www.peterpig.co.uk/french.htm They aren't the best of quality but they are passable.
QRF make H35s and H39s for £6 http://quickreactionforce.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=440_441_481_554&products_id=5376 I havn't seen these myself but QRF can be quite variable in quality and the pictures don't look very good.

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.
-Leman Russ, Meditations on Imperial Command book XVI (AKA the RT era White Dwarf Commpendium).
Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

You're doing Escadron de Combat, I presume? If you're focusing on Light Combat Platoons, you'll need at least 11 H-35/39s, that would be expensive.
Quality Castings does them for $10 apiece.
Why not take the Somua? It has better armor and a better gun and OG/CD carries them. You can get away with spending $60 on 3 packs and have your 1000pt mandatory HQ & 2 Platoons.

I did take the S35 for my EW French. These are for a German army though. Specifically the Beutepanzer list out of Earth and Steel. Why I want to run one I'll never know. Here's the list I want to run
Kompanie HQ w. 2 Panzer 35 S and recovery vehicle - 75
Beutepanzer Platoon w. 1 Panzer 35 S and 4 Panzer 38 H - 145
Beutepanzer Platoon w. 1 Panzer 35 S and 4 Panzer 38 H - 145
Beutepanzer Platoon w. 1 Panzer 35 S and 4 Panzer 38 H - 145
Beutepanzer Platoon w. 1 Panzer 35 S and 4 Panzer 38 H - 145
Bodenstandig Tank Hunter Platoon w. 3 Marder 1 - 135
Bodenstandig Anti Tank Gun Platoon w. 3 7.5cm Pak40 - 120
Bodenstandig Grenadier Platoon w. 3 squads and Cmd. Panzerfaust Team - 130
Bodenstandig Pioneer Platoon w. 3 squads, supply truck and Cmd. Panzerfaust Team - 205
Bodenstandig Artillery Battery w. 4 12.2cm howitzers - 160
Bodenstandig Anti Aircraft Gun Platoon w. 3 sections and trucks - 80
Total 1485 points
I'll have massive trouble against anything with large numbers of tanks, as the only things I have that can tackle them at range are the Marders and Pak40's, but the sheer number of tanks I can throw down in a 1500 point game should be fun.

I like it.
If you lose, well, they just beat up on a bunch of early war tanks with a late war list.
If you win. The shame they feel will be legendary.
Of course I have to wonder if any one supplier will have that many 38 H's available at one time?

I highly doubt anyone would have enough tanks available at any one time. That said it isn't a huge issue as I need time to get everything painted anyways.

Well, I'm an idiot...totally forgot about Game Models. They have H39s for $5 each:
http://gamodls.com/Scripts/French.htm
They also have a bunch of the Beute Panzer in their Captured Vehicle line:

Took a look at the last posted link. The models look pretty good for only 5 bucks which definitely has the bonus of halving the price it would cost buying battlefront minis. On an unrelated note I'm wondering how long it'll take to paint 16 h39's without an airbrush
