Hi All

I recently moved into a new house and for the first time in myy life had Wifi in my home. So wanting to take full advantage of this I set up my xbox live account.

I started to play GoW (first one) and it had some updates, so I downloaded them. Once the update was done all but one of my achievements for the game disappeared. Last night I decided I was going to play the game again and try and get them back however when I started I noticed that it was showing that I had found 30 out of 30 Cog Tags and that I had completed all levels/chapters on Insane. So it's just that the achievements are not showing. For most the achievements it's not too much of a problem as I can just redo them however the cog tags are no longer in the game so I can not re-collect them.

Has anyone had anything similar happen and if so does anyone kow how you get them back?

I've heard of compleate wipes, but not partial. Can't remember if there was a fix or not. Might want to take this query over to the LIVE forums on the Microsfot Xbox site.

If worst comes to the worst, and you want it all back, I suppose you could delete the save file and start over, but that would be a last resort.

I want to avoid that if possible,

I suppose you could also take it to their customer support.

Sadly that can be very hit and miss, I'd advise the forums first, alot of knowledgeable folks over there, who are often quick to respond. Well within hours anyways.

If they know of a solution they will let you know.

Pretty sure there is a technical/help forum, but if not, chuck it in general, will get the most views.

Been a while since I had my issue with my harddrive, so can't remmber the forum layout and its sadly work blocked.

Had a quick look and a guy had something similar happen to him, which was apparently due to offline play. All the achievements are do able again in my case excpet the cog tag ones, so I might have to delete my save
