this is my first chaos space marine rhino battle dmg try

Looks good.

It's a little more subtle than my take on the damaged armor but looks nice.

First of all, for goodness sake at least TRY to make it look Chaosy. Spikes, removed the Aquila. Just don't paint up a SM Rhino and say "Oh, it's a Rhino, I'll use that."

I don't really like the battle damage. You don't get big blotches of metal showing up. Highlight vulnerable ares. Don't drybrush Boltgun Metal (Or whatever) over the vehicle and say "I'm done!"

I start from a sorta black blob and put the metalic paint with a border of the black showing, then a thin line of your highlight at the top of the damaged area. Check out the Deathwing LR in my Gallery for an example.

That coke bottle looks totally destroyed, I think you over did it.

Buy some chaos bits and make it look the part. As blap blap blap said you really must take off the Aquila. Ask yourself why would Renegades sport the symbol of their enemy?

I think it looks entry level and for a first try it looks pretty fregn' good. You might try mixing your boltgun metal with a wash to grit it down some more with a few differing levels of aged metal showing.
