Indeed, would rather we be the first Londoners to win it. So overall I'd rather the Germans win. They are a much better side and therefore should. The ref seems a bit card happy though, harsh yellow for that handball.

Probably an "I'm the boss and laying down the law early" card rather than a legit penalty.
Edit:
According to our Fox Sports commentators, ALL the Londoners are supporting Chelsea to win.

Chelsea havent had a shot. They look panicked in possession and just don't seem up for it. I get that they're playing on the counter but if they concede in the first half things don't look very good for them.
Bayern is definitely in control at this point. I can see playing a defensive game, but you should at least be able to pull off some good counter attacks.
With the game they are playing, and the home crowd for Bayern, Chelsea is in trouble.

I was able to take my wife to the Allianz Arena for a home game in 2008. I decided to give her the full experience, poor American woman spend her first game in the standing room Südkurve surrounded by all the Ultras. If you are going to give an American a European soccer experience you might as well go all out
Indeed, well done to west ham, they deserve to be in the prem. I despise Allardyce, but have great respect for the hammers, after all, they won the world cup.

This sounds wonderful and terrifying at the same time.
As an off topic aside, one of my biggest regrets in life is never seeing a match at Highbury. Something I don't regret is never seeing the American version of Fever Pitch

@ treadhead - Speaking as a Gooner and reasonably regular visitor to the Arse I can say that Highbury is no great loss. There were not enough seats and they were cramped as well. I'm 6'4" and my knees used to kill me after leaving a match because if the seat in front digging in.
The Emirates is the best stadium in the country at the moment that's why Brazil play there. Club level is thoroughly recommended but the cheap seats () are good too.

How do you promote your Hobby? - Legoburner "I run some crappy wargaming website "
Much as I dislike chelsea domestically I always support an English team over a foreign one. So I'm well happy with beating the Germans on penalties.
We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Champions league teams are filled with foreigners... So basically a Goalie that will never save the English in penalties won the game. Congratz to Mr Czech.
In other news, I regret being dragged towards the TV screen by friends to watch this ( not the whole game ) and want my wasted time back.
