Just a hello to all as a new member. A few friends keep going on about this forum and I have used it for tactics in the past. Also my friends keep urging me to upload some pics. I will do shortly once I have figured it out!

I currently play crimson fists and Russians in fow.

I have played 40k on and off since the beginning of the game when my rogue trader book fell appart after a week of owning it! I'm sure those of you who were there knew the feeling!

Hope to post some battle reports and pics from 40k and FOW as they happen.

Thank you. How do I upload pics of my armies?

If you go to gallery, there is a little option called 'upload your wargaming pictures' or something along those lines in the group box at the top. Click on that, and it'll bring you to a page where you can upload picture from your computer. You can only do 10 at a time though. Put the pictures that you want to upload into the boxes through the browse button on the right hand side of each box, and then when you're done click upload. It'll take you to a screen where you name each pictures and once you've finished there then they'll have been uploaded.

I'm more than happy to help but in case I'm a but sketchy on some of the details there is an FAQ for all things Dakka stickied to the top of this sub-forum.

We can get our hands on IG and Tau armies too.

Thats cool. Let him know that anything he wants to bring is fine with us. We have an abundance of Chaos Marines at the moment so any of the others will be great. No Nids/Grey Knights/Tau or Necrons on the list yet if that makes any difference.

Don't suppose you know anybody who plays Sisters either?

It is a weekend isn't it? We will need a place to stay for the night, anywhere local to the venue would do, any ideas? I don't know Mansfield that well, been a few times but only town centre and during daylight.
