How many times can a DE sorc use the sacrifical dagger?

After watching my DE opponent sacrifice nearly 12 warriors on one spell I am wondering is there a limit to how many times on a spell a DE can sacrifice?

It says once per casting if my memory serves

On a side note watching a level 4 sorc run off the table after panicing her own units is full of win.

One sacrifice per casting. For a L4 this can be 5 warriors max (including Power of Darkness).

An important point to note: since it generate an actual power die and not a bonus, it can be used to stop 'Not enough power' failures. It's in the FAQ.

That last bit is good to know. My wife's army just got more ridiculously OP.

Technically a L4 with tome of furion can cast 6 spells a turn, so up to 6 warriors!

Fortunately for the rest of the world (and DE Spearmen), the Tome of Furion and the Sacrifical Dagger are both Arcanre Items.
