Any help on picking which list you think is better, any any critisism would be greatly appreciated I have played a whole 3 games with the knights so far. It's working out great but I'm going to a tournament in July that is a huge bragging rights ard boyz tourney so I need some help.

List two. Add some master crafting to the paladins for allocation purposes. Drop acolytes down to three to master craft more weapons, change a halbred/hammer or two to swords to help with allocation.

First list. You've got two big vehicles which can deliver the Palains and cause some chaos. You've got a lot of armour saturation in this list.

Thanks for the reply mercer. I really do respect you opinoion sonic gonna give these lists some play tests. I do like the land raiders but my only worry is that I'm dropping 530 points on two vehicles. Then again I can machine sport the multi melta and utilize the assault ramps.

Land Raiders are expensive, but will have your Paladins in assault turn 2 and can still fire even if shaken/stunned.

That's pretty huge. Less fire power more mobility might be exactly what I need for this list. And turn 2 assault instead of turn 3-4 would make the list alot scarier. Thanks for your advice mercer you are always a help.

Here is the new list with some modifications to it. I added in a storm raven and vindicare it help me pop av 14. Any help would be truly appreciated.

You need to watch your troops count. A couple of your lists have been illegal.

With Coteaz and Draigo, Henchmen and Paladins Are troops and each unit takes up a FOC slot. Max of 6 units between the 2


With Coteaz as your HQ, you ignore the "Henchmen do not take up a FOC" rule.

Also, you can't choose to take Paladins or Henchmen as elites if you have Coteaz or draigo

I know I read the FAQ :-( sorry about that but I scrapped the first two lists and I posted the third up after I purchased a storm raven. Do you think it's a strong list?

You have a powerful Deathstar to throw in the enemies face and soak up a TON of firepower, while your MSU razorbacks and dreads are the ones dealing the majority of your damage as they take little return firepower. I think it is a nice combination.


A couple of things to think about.

1) running without Meltas on the henchmen.

You will want some of them to hide in their tanks till the end of the game so they can score and take objectives. Not all of them will be hopping out to melta-gun something.


2) Consider not taking the Storm Raven

You can't fit all 10 paladins in it, and sometimes you will want to run them as one giant blob instead of combat squading them.

Damn. I am having one he'll of a time picking between aditional ven. Dreadnought or the storm raven. The only reason I have it in the list is because I have had good luck flat outing the storm raven up to a lemanruss/ landraider/monolith and getting a twin linked multi melta first turn. But it is a very expensive throw away model and i do feel like it is the weak part of my army.
