Ok, decided to do the generic progress blog to keep up motivation for my summer projects.
My goals are two fold
1) Build a Greek Hoplite list for Hail Ceaser! and WAB
2) Finish and modify my Guard list *once 6th ed. comes out*

I have three boxes of hopites and a king to build and paint
about a third of my current guard list to finish painting
2 Tauros assault vehicles to build and paint
1 warforge female commisar to paint (using as something else)
2011 FW con-only model to paint

SO first the mandatory workspace picture

My WIP stuff

My Greek army is coming together

the unit champion is one style of bronze and the standard hoplite is an alt. bronze, I like the alt bronze better and think I'm going to stick with that one

ENJOY, I'll get some more pics with a real camera up in a few days.

The pen is mightier then the sword, but you must keep a sword handy for when the pen runs out of ink.

HEY day 2 and I have an update, got the bronze done on a small unit of hoplites, I think it came out very well, hopefully the pictures get it across somewhat. Enjoy

OK, I really wanted to get an update, and I drank a pre-workout too late so here's a late night update!

He's ready for war!

COME AT ME, BRO!

I know ya'll hate pictures of the same model from multiple angles, but i wanted ya'll to see the detail for C&C

Not the best picture of the WIP linthothorax's but I'm not liking the white. I could use some suggestions to to get a better white then this I want it to look clean but have just enough depth to look good in a phalanx

SO what I really need critique on is the bronze (which I'm pretty happy with, but does it look right), the white linthothorax, and any thing else that might look too out of place. Remember these are going to be in big units so minor details don't need to be perfect, but I really want the bronze and armor to look good. Thanks for looking!
