Whatever happened to the husks after ME3 ended? Obviously they won't be around if you choose 'Destroy', but what about 'Control' and 'Synthesis'? Does Shepard gain control of them as well as the Reapers (unlikely, Reapers left Earth immediately, but I'm open to the idea)? Or did they get switched back to normal after synthesis (not buying this one though)? Or did they get fried no matter what choice unlike everyone else (except of course, in the 'Destroy' ending)?

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.'

This is of course if you accept the current ending at face value... If Shepard did control the reapers I dont see why he cant control husks, after all they are the "easiest" of all reapers to control. I dont think any amount of space magic could return husks to "normal" but with something which somehow combines all synthetics and organics and DOSENT create husks anythings possible.

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.

Well, this is just wild speculation, but like vodo40k said, I would doubt that "reaperfied" beings can somehow be reverted back to their natural state. In some cases, they've been ripped apart and reassembled; all a Brute has from a Turian is half a head. The person they have been - their collection of memories and behaviorial engrams - all depended on a specific combination of biochemicals and electric pulses, which I assume would have been irrevocably altered during the conversion process (these guys are literally half-rotten!).

As for "control" ... I suppose this depends on how Husks etc are networked with Reapers, meaning if they are actively dominated by some sort of signal or whether they are simply following a program that has been implanted into whatever is left of their mind via indoctrination. I'd say it is possible that Husks etc could just as well simply get "cut off" and continue functioning on an "instinctive" basis, like proper zombies. On the other hand, we've seen them being capable of following some protocols more advanced than "charge in and kill" (namely: taking prisoners and dragging them to collection camps), which might imply direct guidance from a Reaper. If said guidance exists in any form, it would be under Shep's control after he/she had made this choice.

Just let them jump off a cliff or something.
