This was the first post for those who are curious.
Spoiler:
Are there any good weapons in the Gor Herds that makes it look like flails? Like most of us I really hate the Marauders... they just look weird. But I really want to run with flails but I can't see if there are good weapons to make it look like it. Anyone knows? And if there aren't any flails or look-alike in there then what do you guys suggest I pick up?

Anyway, since I collect a Nurgle themed Warriors of Chaos army I really want to go with the plague/undead theme obviously, and Gor Herds just doesn't seem to be right for Nurgle. Sure, for Khorne they are awesome but not so much for Nurgle. But what about Zombies as Marauders? Would that work?

Afraid the Gor sprues are lacking flails completely (gors can't take them). Your best bet would be either a bits site or seeing what you can get from the Dakka Swap Shop.

You can see the sprues for Gors on GW's site here. Just click the picture of the sprue to enlarge.

Well that sucks. I suppose there are no great weapons either then.

But I guess I could cut off their hands and change the angle, then combine two weapons to make it look like a great weapon? Could that work?

Great Weapons are pretty easy, just lengthen the shaft of the weapon, make the axe head bigger and make a large chunk of the Gors holding then with two hands to better give the idea that they're great weapons.

As for fails, maybe you can find some decent jeweler's chain at a hobby store or whatever. Then just add a spiky ball to the end (green stuff and sprue work)

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?

The correct audience is you.

They used to have a flail of some form. I have some gors that have one handed flails so if you can get ahold of some of the old sprues, you can get them.

Yeah, that was my idea as well. Anyway, how much do chains usually cost?

The moddels themself lend themself very nicely to your plan, however the Gors do ot come with flails. Howeevr buying them seperat from a bit site will work very well. I have seen this doen to great sucsess

Alright, cheers.

If all fails I suppose I could just dual wield them with flails... just got to buy a couple of chains though, and with dual wield they totally support my use of Mark of Khorne!

Alright, the flail issue is solved. Now to the zombie issue.
