Played against Haqq's on the weekend and again got my end handed to me. I'm always outnumbered playing my Shasvastii. Mission was to occupy a building not in our deployment zone and hold it. Also, try to take the enemies. Other vp for killing Lt. etc etc. I just didn't have enough guys to hold or take. mine was 10 and his about 17! 10, 5, and 2 irregular. You can see though how I had very bad view from any building. I found out how bad the guy with the Emarat can be. One of them destroyed a very expensive remote with that thing, ya I got to kill him later but but he's only 5pts. He killed a 32pt remote! The star of the game though was my Aswang. He held off a l ink team of muyibs. He used his ADHL and immobilized I think it was two or three of them before finally being overcome by the firepower. My Noctifer spitfire came in and took revenge on all of them though.
The pipe thing in the middle blocked all line of site pretty much.
That board looks like a lot of fun. That pipe might be pushing into LOS Overkill.
But I guess it does a good job of sectioning off the sightlines of the board. I'd get to work on a table, but I just don't have the space for it at the moment. I'll have to live vicariously though other people.
Your Box Store Apartments came off awesome. They seem like a great idea for quick terrain.
"-and all that time in Paris, when you were wallowing in debauchery with your doxies, tarts and pirates... you were trying to convince me you were a disgusting, swinish, lecherous, drunken sot... Well I want you to know it worked.
Really nice terrain, can't wait to see it painted!
If I may suggest though: maybe try adding ladders on those pipes to make them accessible to snipers? I can imagine a sniper sitting on top of that pipe and waiting for targets, while still having enough LOS blockage so that it won't have LOS to all the figures.
