Hey Dakka,

I am starting up a Black Templars army. After reading through the codex i came up with this list. Is this competative or even a good BT list? No one in my local Meta plays BT (which was one of the reason I wanted to start) so I have no clue what is a good list and what is not.

HQ:
Marshal w/ Adamantium Mantle, Terminator Armour, LC and SS

EC w/ AACNMTO

Elite:
Assault Terminators x8 w/ 5x LC and 3x TH/SS
Furious Charge

Assault Terminators x5 w/ 3x LC and 2x TH/SS (Marshal and EC go here)

Initiate squads will sit back and snipe open transports along with the Tyhpoons. LRC's will cruise forward and mow threw what comes out.

I'm not familiar with BT's but the list seems ok, most BT armies I face brought an Emperors Champion??

Yes, anything over 750pts has to bring the Emperors Champion. As you can see, he is included in the HQ slot.
