Tell me what you think of the fluff i'm creating for my warband; The Heralds of Excess.

The Fall of The Silver Knights

Rexpathian was once a space marine of the Silver Knights chapter, one of the cursed 13th founding. Soon after its creation, several marines began to suffer crippling visions of a fair haired giant, although of concern to the chaplains watching over the fledgling chapter the notion of corruption was dismissed as the Silver Knights bore the geneseed of Sanguinus and it was assumed to be a manifestation of the black rage; the truth however, was far worse. Whilst on training manoeuvres a cruiser containing 50 Silver Knights made an unexpected jump into the warp. All communication was lost until the ship was spotted some 66 years later. The space marines of the Silver Knights rushed to intercept the vessel in the hopes of recovering survivors. The ship was heavily damaged, and had been painted in all manner of vibrant and discordant colours. All attempts at contact were ignored; the Silver Knights grew increasingly worried. On the 6th day of observations a bright light was seen emanating from the command deck of the vessel. A boarding party was selected and dispatched within the hour. As the Thunderhawk carrying the boarding party drew near to the ship, all manner of symbols and texts could be seen adorning the hull of the vessel. They breached and made their way to the command deck; the tension rising as the ship was eerily silent. On reaching the command deck a flash of bright light illuminated the interior and they marines on board could see the Silver Knights flagship, Light of Segris, disintegrating as an entire fleet unmasked itself. The remaining ships, in complete disarray, were quickly destroyed or boarded by the new threat. The marines on the command deck of the lost vessel could only look on in horror as every speaker and space within the vessel filled with the sound of laughter. The Heralds of Excess had entered the Segrisian sector.
