There has been a lot of talk about GW leaving the tournament scene, no more 'Ard Boyz, no more well anything. We all know that the game is meant to be played for "fun". We also know not everything is created equal and that there are something things that should be balanced out.

We'll pick on Grey Knights for the references here, should a tournament actively errata some of their abilities to balance them out? Would we as a community allow that, or would we call shenanigans on that group just like we do with comp scoring?

While there are some players that will take personal responsibility for not taking the most broken things out there, there are others that have no objection to it. So is it something that should be done? Or something that shouldn't even be discussed as it'll just cause more issues later on?

I suppose you could, but think of it in another way as well. With different tournaments each adding their own errata to existing rules they lose their uniformity, it becomes too confusing that way. Which is then why they'd need a more uniform errata which I suppose can be covered pretty easily with the INAT FAQ at least I think.
