I really like them
Nice use of highlights. The eyes are done with a nice little glow with a good contrasting color. Basing work is complimentary. Originally I was looking at the bones in the tabard and wondering what to do as the metal on the looks odd, but with the color palate I think you made a good choice.
Nice solid work!

The squad looks fantastic. A nice change to the typical hardlined DE, yet you were able to maintain that sinister look that these models naturally have. I dont know how long you have been removed from 40k, but your painting suggests that your hiatus wasnt a long one. I look foward to seeing more of this army as you paint it up!

Subject: Re:[WH40k] Dark Eldar - Kabalite Warriors
The Gold was washed with Devlan Mud. But as the base color is brass, it looks a bit darker.
I didn´t play 40k for about 5 years, but I painted some Blood Bowl Teams and Skirmish minis in this time. So I was used to painting as I started the DE.
Iyou want to know how I painted it exactly, you can take a look on my project log on youtube. Tried such thing first time, so it isn´t that good, but maybe it helps.

Very nice warriors there Demagoge. I am just starting up Dark Eldar myself with a colour scheme nearly identical (Kabal of the Obsidian Rose) so will be watching this thread closely. Keep up the great work.
@ endofanubis: I originally wanted to paint the models like the obsidian rose. But as I kept painting the models got brighter and brighter and I really liked it.
They look great! I love color, but I really appreciate how you were able to maintain the aura of darkness (someone said sinister nature) while applying color.
Thanks guys. Glad you like them. Those damn Reavers I´m painting at the moment take more time, then I thought they would. So new pics will come but you´ll have to wait a little. Michael
