So for anyone like myself who found it silly that the Tau have to take Morale checks when their drones die, apparently it wasn't that far off.

I've seen quite a few series where EOD techs become surprisingly attached to their bots. Stylistically (I like to think war has an artistic ethos) it's really cool, but I can see a lot of problems where men put the bots' "lives" over the mission at hand.

I know a few EoD techs who had tears in their eyes when they asked the engineers to see if they could repair their bots - they are treated as brothers-in-arms who often save the lives of those that control them. That brotherhood thing runs strong in the military. It's part of the training.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
