So, transports prevent you from using abilities using line of sight. that means Zandrekh cannot use his tactics on anyone outside the transport. However, what if he wants to use the power on:

A- The transport itself, as he is embarked in it how could he really draw line of sight to it?

B- Himself and any unit attached to him in the transport? Same theory, how can you possibly need to draw line of sight to one's self?

My thoughts is that these two situations would be valid. Any thoughts? I use this tactic for my party yacht, Zandrekh and 5 crypteks with eldritch lance, plus Szeras who also has the eldritch lance. Sometimes giving the yacht stealth for that 3+ cover, or giving the party on the poop deck some hot tank hunting action!

Victory is not the most important outcome. Enjoyment and excitement is the best outcome, victory is sweeter when it was fun.

You can not use abilities that require LOS if you are in a transport.

Insaniak is of course right, but remember this:
Adaptive Tactics doesn't require LOS. You just choose one friendly unit at the start of your turn(s) (note that there are no other requirements for the target).

Counter Tactics requires LOS, so you cannot use that at all while embarked.

Yep, I have given his abilities to units in reserve, it is quite handy

This exactly.

Even when you embarked on things that have Fire Points? I thought Fire Point can be used to give LOS (or is that only for shooting and shooting psychic power).

This is like "I've been expecting you" from a Rhino.

Your parenthetical is correct. Firing points (and open topped) can only be used for shooting and psychic powers.

This is like "I've been expecting you" from a Rhino.

Which doesn't work - you can't draw LoS for IBEY from a firing point, which means you can't fire out-of-turn.
