I'm looking to make a custom Deff Dread and seeing as how I'm not talented enough to scratch build the entire thing, I need help deciding on a base model.

I was looking at some AT-43 stuff and thought one of the bigger models might work (I haven't checked the scale yet). Anyone else have ideas on models from other games that might work?

Or have your orks loot a cheap AoBR marine dreadnought - perfect size to make a Dredd.

Some of the Robogear stuff seems to be about the right size. I don't know how good their walkers are though. Alternatively Hasslefree have just released a new walker that is pretty nifty.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
