I am considering expanding my TKs. I already have 40 skeletons with bows, 40 with shields, and 40 with spears. If I do not have enough of a particular type I will fill in the back ranks with other skeletons.

Are there any 'good' lists at the 3000 point range that require more skeletons?

yes, mainly with more archers, I've seen 90 archers in some lists.

If I need more archers I usually proxy the back ranks with skeletons with spears. It would have to be a list that uses more than 120 skeletons.

If it's cool to proxy or back rank proxy then I'd say you are probably good. I could see the viability of a large unit of warriors or archers maybe 50-60 strong with a couple or 3 supporting 20 man archer units, so 120 should be fine.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

I think there is a Kalida list floatinga round with a BIG chunch of archers. Last game i ran I has 100 archers and 80 skeletons, but I really want some 140 archers. 3 blocks that can fight a bit and one mage bunker.

BTW: It was funn to se 80 skeletons vs a giant. :-)

I really like Khalida + Archer block.

Archers arent much worse than warriors in CC and Khalida, while not as good as she was before, is still pretty nasty in a fight.

If you got lucky and rolled righteous smiting then that block fights great even in a horde formation.

I ran a two's tourney with Khalida and two blocks of 60 skeletons. My ally was warriors of chaos with Festus the Leechlord.

So I was bubbling Righteous Smiting for 240 poisoned shots every turn. Great fun!
