I Updated the list from earlier. Didn’t really get much feedback. I changed the wolf lord to a wolf battle guard. Doing so allowed me 3 LF units with TLLC RB’s.

Pretty generic, but reliable SW list, although a bit boring IMO.
The only questions I have, why no Saga for WGBL? By FW You meant Frost Blade? Is he joining TWC? If no, he probably needs Meltabomb, especially with having WtN. Also 4 SS on TWC is overkill and point-sink, one or two should be enough. One of them needs MB for wound allocation as well.

The Frost blade on the WG battle leader isn't worth the points. Why pay 15 points for 5 strength when you could get a powerfist? Personally, I'd stay with the stock power weapon.

Same with the WtN. If you're going after troops with him, you'll hit on 3+ anyway. But if you're going after characters, a wolf lord does a better job.

It's just my opinion, but you should lose the frost blade and the WtN. Drop one SS from the TWC and you have enough to make the WGBL into a Wolf Lord. Drop another SS and you can give him a good weapon. Or two.

But in all honesty, I don't think you need the WGBL at all. For 180 points, you'd be better off with another unit of GH's or some terminators.

No saga one the WGBL cause I cound’t afford it. Im trying to find a happy balance in models I like and whats affective for tournament play. I use to play in a pretty hard core tournament, so I try to take as much fire power as possible( I hate razor spam, raider spam, and leaf blower) I really like the wolf lord model, and everything else in the list is to solid not to take. My fun list is an all drop pod list that actually does decent in tournaments, but we all know mech is the way to go.

WtN is usually for the walkers, since there is a strange loophole in the rules, which allows SW characters with WtN to hit walkers on 3+, instead of 6s. Also the main issue usually is to take the Frostblade or Wolf Claw - pure Mathhammer supports WC.
I'd actually support PF or TH on WGBL, since he already got I 4, as opposed to I 5 on Wolf Lord and thus does not waste his ability to hit before most troops, but the absence of Saga of the Bear on him makes it too risky to loose him on some unlucky instadeath save rolls.

so how about taking the WGBL out and adding some TWC and having two units? three units of two, my only concern is there LD 8, and getting insta killed by Str 10 weapons. but i can have them with SS, and A PF in each unit. thoughts?

You are right, he really is I5 , so there are the same reasons against PF/TH on him as in case of a Wolf Lord. Two units of trhee is better than three of two, btw.

Making a second almost identical post to alter the same list just because you didn't get instant replies isn't a good idea. Take into consideration that this forum has members from across the world and not all of them are awake or at their computer 24/7 to answer posts immediately.

As for your list. It's pretty standard, which is probably why you're not seeing an instant response. You fixed the Stormshield error from the other post which is good.

I prefer the Wolf Lord over the WGBL personally, he has better stats. Yes he's more points, but I think he's worth it.

+Stormshield, WTT, TWC

I take off the CC weapon because in CC I want the rending usr which also makes him cheaper. I also take off the WTN since he's WS 6 and would only need 3's to hit most anything he'd face. While the WTT allows him to nullify any psychic power on a 5+ giving him more survivability.

Aside from those slight changes the list is pretty standard and should work just fine.
