DKoK are based on German Empire from WW1, so use their uniforms.

Their uniforms are nothing alike, the helmets are totally different and French uniforms were blue not grey as Krieg uniforms are.

Krieg are Imperial Germans from WW1, not even a trace of French and Belgian in them.

P.S. I see French WW1 military uniform a LOT of times since our army used them as of 1917 after they formed Solun's front. They are not unlike Germans at all, especially the helmets. And that is French helmet picture that you posted, not German. German helmets are much like WW2 ones.

Those helmets don't look like French at all, the only resemblance to them being that line at the top of it. Either way, Kriegsmen have much more German then French in them - just like Cadians have more American then German or Soviet in them.
