So I cracked open the old core set and decided I'd start painting the Axis first.I chose to paint the leader Sigrid Von (boobie) Thaler first. The face on this mini was difficult; the eyes were just two round orbs so I had to paint the oval shaped eyes on top. Having looked at the Dust Warfare comics I had lying around I used one of the covers with Sigrid as a general reference for the colours and tone. The women of Dust all seem to be very sexy in the artwork, trying to carry that across solely with the paintjob is not easy. I think I would of prefered the mini to have the pose and clothing of the cover art instead of the Gambit style head gear.

Anyone who is familiar with snow basing, I would like to know what techniques you use and if you think I can improve mine. Thanks
