After managing to spill my last pot of this lovely paint :( I'm looking to pick up a new pot of it. Does anyone know how close the vallejo / p3 / new citadel colour is to the old version?
Particularly the heavy grey from vallejo?

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one? |

I hear that Coat D 'Arms still poduces the old line of Citadel paints. For all I know they may still be making Devlan Mud.

Tamiya German Grey is a touch darker than Battlegrey, but pretty much the same colour out of the pot.

I ended up having to order several pots of the adeptus battlegrey from the war store as they had some in stock still up until fairly recently. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and for those still on the hunt for a substitute for their delvan wash and badab black washes check out army painter's inks.

I can speak from experience. Vallejo heavy gray is not a very good replacement for adept us battlegrey.
The lip of the base is painted with Vallejo heavy grey and has a wash to make it appear more grey.
If you find an acceptable replacement please let us know.
Take care
