*bursts though room with axe* HEEEAAARRRS JHONNY!!!

Ok so here is my question, I am looking at starting LOTR and was wondering which army would be the best choice, I like mordor for the ring wraiths and the morgul knights, shelob, dragons and sauron, but I like Dol arnoth because of the knights and infantry as well as the characters...

So my question is which would be best for me?

Cheers to all comments

There is really no bad choice. Why not since the armies don't have to be -massive- get both?

I've sold so many armies. :(

Mordor has more variety in troops, but Dol Amroth troops are all round better than even their Minas Tirith counterparts, personally as a lackey of the Dark Lord Sauron, I know who I would choose.

It really depends on your style of tactics and painting; would you want to field an army of numerous evil creatures with dark and sinister tones, or would you rather paint elite warriors, their bright colors fluttering in the wind as the sun reflects off their gleaming armor?

Or a evil army that has armour that glitters in the refelctions of the fires consuming the White City?

You mean rusted and tattered armor, right? Remember, the Orks aren't really "clean" when it comes to their possessions.

I dont play Orks. I play Easterlings so my army glitters, And if you have a elite regiment of Orks I dont see why they cant have well looked after armour.

The elite Orcs are the ones of Barad-dûr; and they fight with black armor and dark weapons. The only colors they have besides is the red of their insignia.

Well how dull then. Having a army that all looks like they have been dunked in a pot of black, And I dont see any reson for some Orks not wanting to show of their weapons and such, but hey I dont give a toss about the fluff really.

Some people mix it up by adding reds and other colors, but thats how fluff is with them.
