So during my down time (when I am not painting or doing college work) I tend to play some video games. My hard drive recently died and I lost all of my DoW files (need to re-install them) so I've been playing League of Legends. I was wondering if anyone here plays? I find it a bit tough to play sometimes because some players just don't like to communicate.

It would be good etiquette to announce to people if the link you're giving them is one set up to give you benefits personally. So they know and can make that choice if they want to.

Still play as evident from how I seem to pop up in every thread made about it here.

The only change from the usual Teemo, Janna, Sona and Soraka line up I seem to have is that I'm learning Rumble at the moment. Sort of a change up to be a bruiser of sorts for once. Name in game is Iustis, with a capital i at the start. Usually in a full premade, though it would be interesting if Dakka finally got together a ranked team.

Sorry, most of the people I've invited have been people in ventrillo and skype, so I explained everything verbally >.< I will edit my post.

I play a bit of LoL also. Big fan of Rammus, Gangplank, Katarina, Ashe, Amumu, and well pretty much all tank/bruiser types. But i agree with you its annoying playing with randoms who don't communicate you don't need vent you just need to talk with your team, for this reason i try to avoid pug groups and get a team together with my mates.

This is a perfect Summary of 80% of solo queue LoL players. Couldn't of got a better example myself if i tried to.

Aye, every solo queue if support prepare to shoot yourself in both feet and stand in a bucket of salt in a busy intersection.

pretty much, Mid is also a bad one you get grilled the moment you die (even if you've been killing them) because either:

1. No MIA
2. MIA but no support then you get dived
3. Jungle is ignoring you and wont support

I play LoL, though not as much as I used to play DoTA.

My lol name is the same as my dakka, shoot me a request if you want.

I've only been playing for about 2 weeks, but I'm not that bad (successfully solo'ed bottom against Teemo and Nunu as Graves, so thats something I guess )

I play, but play bots almost exclusively. XD I find I run into less internet tough guys that way.

It's the only way sadly. This is why I'm in premades exclusively now.

But don't you love having a laugh at how sad people are on solo/duo queue ha-ha. I often get more of a laugh than worry about whatever they rant at.

Ahh, just owned a game of solo 5v5 and the warm fuzzy feeling you get when everyone compliments you.

Man I hate noobs who are scared of getting killed. I was playing Annie, going top (because someone else really wanted to go mid) and i was with someone playing Ashe. 3-4 times in a row, whenever a below half enemy (either Shen or Fizz) came to close, i would start chasing them, getting 1 or 2 hits away from a kill. He would follow me, but the second another enemy (even one with less then half health himself) Ashe would run away and get me killed.

I play every once in a while. Mostly only play Cho'Gath.

I regret to say that I play this game.

Mostly morgana.

i love it when someone accuses me of being terrible, and I've got more kills, fewer deaths and twice the assists... entire team was trashing me and I had the best KDR.
I also enjoy when asshats insist on telling you to stop feeding, but fail to comprehend the adversarial nature of the game. Once you donate 400 G to the other side..... unless somoene helps you and lets you get the kill, you're SOL

I know, it makes me question why I am a support player at times...

I reckon hey, that whole "stop feeding noob" bs people cry about every time you die early in the game pee's me off incredibly. Then they not only cry when you die again/get ganked another 2-5 times they don't even try to support you, help you gank, or call MIA it's crazy. People are playing a 5v5 team game as a solo game, they do not care about working together only winning themselves. Thus you see idiots chasing 1 guy who is on 10% hp half way across the map while the other 4 members of the team loose a team fight they would have won with their AD Carry.....

Also my absolute Pet hate about players in this game, that one guy in every game that says in team chat "gg" after first blood............

With that rant put aside, i really like this game.. Go figure.

Or when I'm doing my job and they constantly whine about how I do "nothing" and should ward in places that'd make other supports try to touch the back of their head through their face. Support doesn't need to be flashy, just subtle so I'm not getting focused too badly at first. After a few saves I will see the focus regardless anyway.

Still my Janna average is 1/3.8/20.2/8.8. With the totals being 6/23/121/53. That's also only 6 games.
