Well I think having 2 HQ's at 1500 is too much, so I'd drop the chaplain, and maybe add some sterngaurd? then drop the 3rd tact and get some speeder too maybe.

What about something like this?

Looks solid.... Though I may replace the razor backs for rhinos and get a dakka pred. Will play test these. Thanks!

well, I was thinking combat squad the stern so that the lascannons and normal bolters act like mini-devs (stern with lascannon costs like 40, and dev with las costs over 50). and it helps that the sternguard can shoot some longer range bolter shots :3

I'd be careful putting plasma on your sergeants since they have a nasty habit of overheating. Then you lose his attacks, Ld, and PF!

I killed 3 terminators with these. Captain had a plasma pistol and relic blade so I basically killed them all.... (these were LC mixed with a few TH/SS ones)

In my experience, having some transports never goes wrong... maybe some drop pods, rhinos, and razorbacks? They can really come in handy against shooty armies...

I wish to point out that with pedro you should centre the list on the sternguard.
As they are scoring you can take less troops. I like Telion and some other token troop choice.

So for rhinos, which mean the sternguard can shoot out of armour, I would like:
Pedro

~250 6 sternguard 2 heavy flamers, 4 combimeltas, rhino
~250 6 sternguard 2 heavy flamers, 4 combimeltas, rhino
~250 6 sternguard 2 meltaguns, 4 normal, rhino

~250 tac squad with melta, combimelta, fist, ML
200 Telion, 8 snipers, 1 missile launcher

350~ 3 vindis(or 3 preds)

Then probably I would recommend a librarian as they are useful, or biker scouts as they are not seen often enough and they have an awesome alpha strike thing going on, though typhoons to provide longrange shooting is probably more needed.
