Subject: Infinity Rules - debate them often?

Hello all,
I have been considering making the jump, but I have been wondering about the rules (specifically if they are clear cut). My gaming experience has been AT-43,GW (both plenty of debate on the rules), and Heroscape (pretty clear cut).
Can someone with experience playing the game share their experience with the clarity of the rules?

Usually early in an infinity community's beginning there are several rules debates. As members ask question on the main site or as infinity veterans, those debates go away. In our area it is rare that we have a debate anymore.

If you consider that 99% of the doubts you may have are already solved on the forums/wiki/rulebook, there's almost no debates at all.
In addition, Infinity rules are quite easy to remember and really intuitive when you get the hang of it (i suck at remembering things and even though I get to remember most of the rules even though i'm quite nooby)

there pretty clear-cut. the only problem i had was when moving from quickstart rules to adding in hacking, camo, and just about every tasty trick that draws you into the bemutamus game we know in love as infinity.
just my 2 cents thou.

Welcome to the internet, and specifically a gaming forum.

There can be some confusion with the translations but and it does take some getting used to more detail in other games but that's about it.

I find myself looking them up more than debating them. The system is quite good, there's a lot to remember since it's quite complex (in a good way), but the rules themselves are pretty clear I haven't really had any arguments.

The biggest complication you will have is rules lawyer types from 40k and Warmahordes sometimes have a "cooling period" where they can't get over the fact that RAW arguments in Infinity don't always work. It sometimes takes those personality types a bit to settle into the system and unfortunately sometimes they can't handle it. Two biggest issues they have are cover and line of sight rules.
