Just thought I would post up my progress in learning to paint. used to do this when I was in school, over a decade ago! And got back into the game about 6 months ago. so here are some of my attempts so far from oldest to newest.

I love the Njal conversion, the dual lightning claws look great! If nothing else, the poses you've given your minis are great. The paint jobs on your troops are a decent base, I'd recommend looking up how to highlight your minis and use some washes on the armour.

I agree, I think it's looking really promising toast, I think the GW washes would be a great investment, they give great results without being too time consuming, keep it up, hope to see more.

Hi all, it's ben a bit quiet from me as I have been spending time looking after my wife who has been poorly. As such I didn't get my thunderwolves painted in September as I had planned. I did get a good amount done but not finished.

Anyway, here is where I got upto with my thunderwolves in september.

I plan on finishing these in October along with doing a Lone-wolf and some fenrisian Wolves. I started the conversion on my Lone-wolf last night, not finished yet as waiting for a Wolf-Helm to arrive through the post from e-bay.

Let me know what you think, I am quite happy with how the conversion has gone so far. Oh and yes the Wolf has got a sort of Collar on but this is only to hold a honor roll which has all of my Lone-wolfs fallen comrades names on it. He keeps it with him so that they are never forgotten and so he can be added to the list of his battle brothers when he falls in battle. (or something like that)

Hi all, Just a quick WIP for this months efforts. The wolf's head still needs a lot of work, I am quite happy with how the frost axe has turned out though.

I have not yet finished these two but I am quite liking how these are looking.

The story behind these two are that Yovik has lost all his pack mates, and 1 of his own legs, in battle. He has vowed to battle on until he has repaid the debt of his fallen battle-brothers in blood. To honor them he has taken on the black armour of a lone wolf and goes into battle along with his fenrisian wolf Misha who carries their fallen battle-brothers names on a scroll so that when the time comes his name can be added to it.

Please let me know if you think I need to tweek anything imparticular.
