So I am constructing a custom chapter of space marines and low and behold they will be led by shrike. Unfortunatly I think the Shrike model is poo poo and I want to convert a new one. My idea so far, that I am acting on though I may end up ruining a model in the process, is using the body of the force axe librarian from the space marines line, cutting his weapons off and replacing them with lightning claws, and scooping the head and psychic hood out for a new one, oh and of course I have a nifty jump pack all ready for him.

So I guess my question is what are ya'lls thoughts on the conversion, any tips, or other ideas, should I just try something else, any other neat looking shrike conversions, or dual lightning claw power armour marines that you have seen.

Thanks for any responces everything helps, Peace.

I did this conversion here.
Some of the posts on my blog on his construction.

When people ask me, "How do you build your army?"
I tell them its "The ten-zero factor, coolness ten, combat effectiveness... zero."

A little expensive but perhaps some lightning claws on this guy instead of the hammer?
