I like that steampunk scenery a lot, especially that it's usable for fantasy or sci-fi games.

I presume all these products are resin? I worry about how brittle/fragile those game boards might be, especially if dropped :( Or are they made from some flexible resin that can handle shocks and bends?

Hello,

thank you for your replay.

The boards are in 2cm styrofoarm, this is light in weight and not fragile. For good shipping have perfect fit transport boxes.

Under the couch

I'm a little underwhelmed by the 'steampunk' scenery, to be honest. They appear to be just regular houses with a few cogs stuck on the walls.

Where are the fancy architecture, the big brass boilers, the gaslights and the improbable number of rivets?

On the one hand I agree, on the other, well...
It's like in a fantasy setting, sure the castles and manors will be hugely impressive, with just the architecture we imagine for that setting, but what about the common folks' property? That won't look fancy in any way whatsoever.
Now I'm no fan of sticking a few cogs onto a building and calling it steampunk - I think these would look way better without the cogs - but you just shouldn't get "the fancy architecture, the big brass boilers, the gaslights and the improbable number of rivets" in a grimey low-steampunk setting's common folks' buildings. Which these appear to be.

And really if everything is over-the-top like that, it all ceases to stand out. subtle can be good!

I don't have a problem with subtle, just with the labelling. These are acceptable fantasy buildings, but not what I would class as steampunk.

Certainly not every building in a steampunk setting needs to be overly steampunky... but if they're marketted as steampunk rather than fantasy, I expect to see something that is obviously steampunk.

Hello again,

yes it is correct, it is not the "normly" steampunk design, but we have some comments become. And we will add
some new houses with other design. This is perfect for normly steampunkdesign.

You can also comments post what you need for a perfect steampunk scenery.
