I've posted a very similar list a little bit ago, but that list didn't have enough plasma or drop pods.

HQ - 295
-Pedro Kantor
-Master of the Forge w/ Conversion Beamer

Elites - 615
-10 Sternguard w/ 1 Combi-Melta
+Drop Pod w/ Locator beacon

-Dreadnought (MM and DCCW) w/ Extra Armor
+Drop Pod

Dreadnought w/ Assault Cannon and TL Autocannon

Troops -713
-6 Scouts w/ Sniper Rifles and Missile Launcher
+Telion

-5 Scouts w/ Sniper Rifles and Camo Cloaks

-10 Tactical Marines w/ Missile Launcher
+Razorback w/ TL Lascannon

10 Tactical Marines w/ Multi-Melta, Combi-Melta, and Meltagun
+Drop Pod w/ Locator beacon

Heavy Support - 375
-Dreadnought w/ Plasma Cannon and Missile Launcher
-Dreadnought w/ Plasma Cannon and Missile Launcher
-Dreadnought w/ Plasma Cannon and TL Autocannon

So far, I like this list. It inadvertently became a TAC list (well, except CC). In objective games, the 5 scouts sit on a home objective while the other 4 (potentially 7) scoring units faff about on other objectives. The ML tac marines combat squad, five in Razorback and five chillin' with a Missile Launcher somewhere. The DP locator beacons give me some wiggle room with the third DP, as I can choose where to place it depending on where needs it more. In a 2500 point list, all I would add would be three Stormtalons and some upgrades for the Dreadnoughts. As for the HQ units, Pedro goes with the Sternguard and the MotF with one of the scout squads (bolstering things for a 2 or 3+ cover save). He could also go with the combat squad with the ML.

Space Marine Scout with Sniper Rifle

It looks pretty good against Space marine variants but I must know. What are you versing? If your versing swarms you need more firepower and blast weapons. ATM your doing well against tank lists. Good luck and happy wargaming.

I like the list. Going off what grandcell said, maybe drop one of the dreads and put on a vindicator? That's probably my only suggestion and maybe a flamer on the tac squad(s)

Actually, the cool thing about this list is that I can switch out the weapons on darn near everything and keep the points exactly the same.

On the Plasma Dreads, I can swap the Plasma out for Assault Cannons for no additional cost. I could also swap the Autocannons out for Missile Launchers (or MLs for ACs).

On the Melta Tac Squad, I can swap the melta stuff for a Heavy Bolter, flamer, and combi-flamer. Swapping out the meltagun for a flamer actually gives me more points, so I can then give one of the Sternguard another combi-weapon.

And Telion's scouts can always swap to a Hellfire Heavy Bolter.

@Grandcell: I'll be (hopefully) fighting Grey Knights, Orks, Tau, more Tau, Dark Eldar, and Necrons within the next month. I don't really know anyone who plays Tyranids, so they may be one of the few things I don't fight.
