$10 for two 200x200mm trays plus a crap ton of edges and corners too much for you? Those modular trays are one of the best ideas GW has had in years.

I can make double the trays for like half the cost with the modular. Also the non-modular can't make horde size. They've dodo'ed

Horde dwarves?
What size ranks do ogres need for horde? I'm guessing less than 5, so they would still fit on a 200mm tray.

You need 6 wide. I usually run a horde of bulls. 18 ogres all getting attacks. The only problem I have is bretonians because I can't get enough attacks in to CRUSH THEM LIKE BABIES and I usually have to attack some character. Other than that, nothing has survived it's charge.
So I had to take 2 custom trays to make 1 ogre tray. Twice. I need more ogres...

For standard size trays, Renedra make them in the UK.
Cheap and goblin-greenish, too.
Just like the original GW ones.

Or you can get some thin board and make them yourself.. Its not to difficult to make them, plus they can be custom sizes that you need..

1.) GW modular movement trays go up in price considerably in a few days. So hurry
2.) Movement trays by other manufacturers:

I've stopped using the GW modular trays & now use Shogun metal trays. Well made & inexpensive - its a rare combination.

Make your own out of plates of tin, then buy the magnets. The whoile thing should cost you less then ten bucks, or your equivilent.
The tin pieces can also be picked up out of scrap boxs, or from construction sites for free. You can either put in your own edging, or forget edging altogether and use glue and sand/ putty mix around the outside.
GW trays.... er.... You can get some from the old bag bit deals, or from some old school gaming stores that still have them, or your stuck like chuck with the bubble plastic sets of "Make your own tray".
