Hi folks just asking for some quick advice about a list i am going to take to a mini tourney next week, I know a lot of how a foot list works is likely to change once 6th drops or at least become easier ( according to my local gw store anyway as the guy sold me my 6th box of empire militia this week.
This list is drawn up from what i have ready to go atm as my army is taking an age to build and paint.
Anyways onto my list. I have found having my blobs looking a lot different from each other and doing different roles has sped up the speed i play at no end so i can now play with 100+ models and still get five turns in.
I am likely to be facing a wall of power armour at this event and a few other bits and bobs. I have drawn this list up with a focus on anti armour and trying to get as much mobility as possible hense running both Harker and Al’Rahem and the stormtroopers.

The tactics i have is just to let the ccs and static blobs stand back and shoot until dead.
Marbo and his demo are to try to take out something juicy that makes his points back.
The stormies are too deep strike near to long range stuff that’s hurting me and try to burn em up. I don’t know if melta guns would be better than plasma for this job, at the moment i have em modelled up with plasma guns but this is the one unit i have yet to finish so could use ether weapon.
Scout Harker forward into some decent cover and murder any infantry that comes their way.
The forward blobs will stand back and shoot with the auto cannons for the first cpl of turns then start moving forward to get to objectives ect. The plan is for 30 man blob to take or make the charge and then the 20 man one to counter charge. This is likely to be harder than not to achieve but at least is the plan.
Finally i have Al’Rahem come on near there board edge and the blob should bring some hurt even if some of the plasma guys get hot and burn up.
I think i have every section of firepower filled, long range anti tank in form of 6 lascannons, light anti-armour with five autocannons, two heavy bolters and seven grenade launchers, short range anti-armour with five meltaguns, anti teq with plasma guns and powerweapons and anti horde with quite a few laser pointers.
At the moment this comes in at 1980 which can be some melta bombs or a couple of plasma pistols. Or should iskim some points and try to take a SWS to form an anti-deepstrikers force for my static lines?
