Wondering if anyone would be kind enough to recommend a zombie survival (emphasis on the long term survival ) for the pc? Yes i know there's all the Day Z stuff going round atm, but i lack, and have no intention of buying, ARMA 2. Theres a few bits on steam, but alot of them look more just shooty fun rather than the long term mentality.

You earn double internets if the games free and will work on my laptop

I seem to remember one awhile back that was a "proper" survivors game. Graphics were simple, top down and spritely i guess. But it ran a constant day-night continiously, gangs and military would begin to move into the city as you learnt new skills. Youd have to eat and sleep, barricading yourself into basements and raiding hospitals and stores for supplies, until eventualy theyd run dry and ud either trade with other survivors or resort to murder... anyway if people remember an open/free game resembling that thanks for that too.
