I haven't played lotr for a while now, I have seen that harad and isengard are in the same book, does this mean I can take units from both armies on the same army?

Well which rule/source book is this we're talking about? I'm sure it's possible but I'm a little hazy on the evil side as I've never played harad (despite collecting a few mumakils). However Isengard I have played and with their Strength 4 this gives them a massive advantage. They have decent armor and there is plenty of different models to chose from. They're like the equivalent of elves but for evil in my opinion.

The books I have at the moment are the old mordor one, the old harad one and the two towers sourcebook.
I'm going to save up for the new bold though.

The new harad 1 is fallen realms. You could use them together if you wanted to but no mixed warbands!

This sums it up, And this would acctualy be a great list. You have heavy armor and solid frontline infateri and mobile cav and good archers. AND a good selection of heros
