OK here is my latest idea. What are the benefits to being an Aun? We know they are the spiritual heart of the empire, but what perks come with that job?

Pretty much like royalty, but we don't know to what extent they have access to luxuries (it's not very Greater Good, but we don't know how much the Aun believe in that either!)

Since there's no solid answers as far as I know, the answers you get will reflect the posters view of the Tau - the brightest hope for the galaxy or filthy space cows

At least that's what I imagine being an Aun is like.
