Hey guys,

Looking at the Malcador Defender on the Forgeworld Imp Guard Super Heavy page.

How does it compare size-wise to the well known Baneblade?

(yes, I know it is more expensive, that's not the issue)

Looking for something convertable to a Skullhamma Battle Fortress

Anyone seen the two close-up that can chime in?

Thanks

The Malcador defender is MUCH smaller, would almost say 3 times smaller than the baneblade. It is a little larger than the leman russ (but not really much wider).

I can kinda see it being a skullhammer, but it is smaller than what I would expect.

Go for the macharius hull if you are looking for something a little smaller than a baneblade (much bigger than the malcador and not really a difference in price)

Google image search is your friend and very easy. I typed in "Malcador Defender forge world" and this was in the first few rows of links.

I never knew how small the Malcador was. One wonders why they even have structure points.

Reading the burlb about it being an "older" tank than the Russ its about the size I expected it to be.

Reminds me of the French post-WW1 design called the Char Bis (I think thats how its spelt) which was massively armoured like some British WW2 designs but was hopelessly outgunned by the Panzers.
