I wish there was one game out there like how diablo 2 is. It would really bring the books i read to life, as i am not an avid board game player. And dont even mention space marine game, been there done that. What do yall think?

There was going to be Dark Millennium Online, the 40k MMO, but due to how MMOs tend to do and THQ's paring down, it's been cut quite a bit. It will be a single player shooter RPG (sort of like Mass Effect) with supposedly robust multiplayer options. Also, if you just want an online co-op game, there's the Kill Team one on Xbox Live Arcade. It's a Gauntlet-style hack and slash shooter sort of game with some light RPG elements.

Didn't the multiplayer content get cut as well? I remember reading that just a few weeks ago.

I blame it on GW. All they needed was 5 million to finish the MMO and GW CEOs decided to pay themselves instead.

I'd blame it on THQ's massive losses and faltering business over GW executives in this case.

Back OT, MMO's fail all the time, and are extremely expensive to make, and do you really want another hotkey based MMO in a market dominated by WOW?

Im just happy their still making a game, even if it wasn't what what they originally intended.

A 40k game along the lines of ME? Colour me interested. Off to youtube to find trailers!

I still think final liberation was an amazing 40k game, very true to table top and i remember playing it fondly...not mmo or anything, but very table top nd i loved that.

i think space marine did a great job. now if a second space marine comes out i wanna be able to choose races...that would be so epic.

as for a mass effect style 40k game...i only wish, but i doubt it will ever be like that, a game of such proportions is a massive (prrdon the pun) undertaking and if THQ are making cuts and GW will not fit the bill you can bet you will get a much more stripped down game.

i still say bring it on
