I am not sure anyone covered this yet and I am kind of haveing trouble finding information on this right now but I really need to know why I can't find a Slaan Mage Priest really want to get one for my Lizardmen army all I have is the oop one and it was second hand so I really want to buy one and I can't find one anywhere on the GW website, tried calling GW and all I got is GW gobbly goop. I just want to make sure the model wasnt discontinued or if I will be able to get one in the forseeable future. Could someone please give me some news on this please.

Lizardmen and some other fantasy armys i cant recall are getting a finecast release later in the month.

They will be releasing a finecast model in place of the metal one. It was one of several that will be converted sometime soon.

Supposedly June 9th it should be avaliable on their website, according to the last White Dwarf.

Still, just for future reference News and Rumours isn't really a place for questions, just actual news and rumours.

I want them to be get a points upgrade at least considering they get a free loremaster upgrade. Also, If someone takes an ethereal slann and removes my level 4 and/or cauldron I may as well pack up there and then.

Honestly that seems entirely too farfetched to be true they cant remove the most important models/unit for an entire army strategicly and fluff wise in my opinion, you must be joking.

Fluff wise the Brets finally got around to cooking and eating all their legs!

I am awaiting a FC Slann Mage release. I am wary though of being the test mule. It seems the first production run of most FC are epic fails. The only good thing about jumping in firt if if the model is blob they would most likely send you a new one in the mail and you can then see what kind of magic you perform on the orignal broke arse one to see if its fieldable with some work.

I would love to see a Slann that didn't look terrible. Lizardmen really have some beautiful models and the Slann just looks like a fat ugly alien (not even a frog) on a chair.

Now I'm from across the pond and the Slann Mage Priest is still available from GW website in metal for £23.50.

FC in America appears to be the same as film releases or rather 'movie' releases over here.

The temple guard look awesome.

They are in advanced orders for finecast. Both slann and relic priests/kroak. AND kroxigor. And monsters + handlers and terradons. So nearly all lizardmen are plastic or finecast now. Pretty cool.
