Are there any players in Ft. Worth? I moved here a year ago, and have been playing Warmachine, since thats what all my friends down here play. But still want to play some 40k

I am located in Fort Worth. There is a store called Y2 Comics that is on the South side of town. If you are wanting to be guaranteed a game, PM me and I'd be willing to schedule something.

I´ll be coming over to the Ft.Worth - Dallas area now in October and possibly bringing an army. If there are some dakkaites willing to meet up with a Swede for a nice game and a chat then let me know!

I'm in Fort Worth as well. My group's always up for playing with new people. We were playing regularly on Saturdays at my place until my daughter was born a month ago. We've kind of taken a break until things calm back down for me. There are a couple of guys in our group that are up for weeknight games that I'm sure would be willing to meet at a game store. Here are some suggestions...
Kenny from the Heroic 28s Podcast was working on getting a regular Saturday thing going on at Y2Komics in south Fort Worth off of Granbury Road. Craig, the store owner, has 4 or 5 tables and I'm pretty sure he has some terrain there for playing. He's a good guy who has a decent stock of 40k stuff and often has used armies for sale. I was in there on Monday and he had some Eldar, some orks, and a Fantasy army that I didn't pay much attention to.
Just down the highway, Evo Games is getting into the 40k scene. They have a nice table that's always up and the owners of the store are enthusiastic about learning the game. They recently started selling GW stuff. The Hitting on 3s podcast guys (myself included) were out there last weekend to help facilitate a couple of games and we're doing it again for 2-3 hours again this Saturday (10/20).
There's Area 51 in Grapevine, so that's a bit of a drive, but they have some nice gaming tables set up. They recently moved across the street to a bigger store and it's been a while since I've been in there, but I'm pretty certain that I've seen 40k going on there. It'd be a viable place to meet up. They don't stock a whole lot of GW stuff. From my understanding, the store owner isn't overly fond of GW, but it's second hand information.
The Lone Star comics in Hurst has a 40k game night every Sunday. I talked to the manager and he said that it's slower at this time of the year due to football, but normally a few people show up. It gets busier when it's not football season. They have a pretty good supply of 40k stuff and room for a few tables.
I hope that helps, at least for identifying places to play (Y2K was mentioned in an earlier post).

I live in Fort Worth. I usually game every Sunday at a friend's place up in Grapevine. I've been to Area 51 several times in the past, but only once recently. Their new location is huge. They have a pretty big Flame of War crowd there. I haven't been to Y2Komics in awhile, but I need to get back down there to check out the scene.
