I don't know if you have been told this, but you need to take out the upgrade costs of the models, only put the total points for the unit.

1. Your Grey Seer can't have an Enchanted Shield; he can't have any magic armor at all.

2. You definitely want to grab a Chieftain BSB, loaded with the best protection you can get him. The re-rolls on LD checks will save your units.

3. You Stormvermin and Plague Monks can only have 1 magic banner each.

4. At 2,500 points, your 2 Rat Ogres will probably not do a whole lot. Same with 3 Jezzail teams.

5. You can only have 1 dispel scroll per army now.

6. Your general (the grey seer) needs a ward save.

The Lair of Vengeance....Poole.

Take a condenser on 1 engineer and a DOOOOOOOMrocket on the other. Drop the level 1. I tried that. It was never that effective.

Up the rats to 50 and drop the champs. You don't need them. And before anybody says challenge fodder, your characters all have verminous valour.

Nightrunners aren't worth it. I would rather have 2 blocks of 8 gutter runners with slings and poisoned attacks.

Up your stormvermin to 40 and take the STORM BANNER!

Plague monks are only worth taking if you have a furnace IMO

Drop the jezzails. They are far too fragile.

As are rat ogres. I am taking a token unit in my army. But my army is rocky horror themed and the rat ogres will be in gold hot pants.

Rare is ok. I would prefer to have a hellpit and 2 cannons myself though.

I think you misunderstand how skaven use challenge fodder. The idea isn't to accept a challenge against a fighty hero, because as you said characters have Verminous Valour. The idea is to issue a challenge against a fight hero, to reduce the number of models he can kill in a single turn. It allows you to keep your block around longer, as less models die.

I never really looked at it that way. Either way, slaves get killed in droves. (I run lots of slaves if it wasn't clear)

Ah, fair enough. I rarely shell out the 4pts for a Pawleader, only because few armies I face on a regular basis run combat heroes; most are casters. Plus... 50 slave blocks can afford to lose a few more than 30 rat blocks of Clannies or Stormvermin.

Basically, if the enemy hero kills 3 slaves, you broke even on the pawleader. If he kills more than that, better to have thrown the pawleader on him.
